Open to foster parents, school officials, mental health professionals and any interested persons. A training certificate will be offered to all training particpants. The goal of this FREE training opportunity is to increase caregiver’s knowledge about how to effectively plan, handle, and deter frequent occurrences of crisis events with youth and adolescents. As a result of this half-day training, caregivers will gain knowledge of how to effectively prevent and plan for crisis incidents, as well as how to minimize negative reactions during crisis incidents. This training is specifically designed for any caregiver of youth including parents, grandparents, foster parents, school officials, mental health professionals, case managers, social workers, etc.
