Open Access Clinic

We provide outpatient therapy without an appointment, which empowers patients to engage in treatment when they are truly ready.

As an open access clinic, Integrated Family Services will be providing outpatient therapy services that will not require an appointment. When you are ready to engage in your treatment, you can just walk in or call 252-439-0700, Monday through Thursday, between 8 am and 2 pm for comprehensive clinical assessments.

As a result of there not being a need for appointments, you are empowered and can engage in treatment when you are ready. You will be able to come in or call when you choose and link with a licensed clinician and not have to wait for a scheduled appointment.

  • First you will check in with the receptionist, you will then meet with the Referral Coordinator, who will ask you some basic questions about your type of insurance and the purpose of your visit.

  • Next you will be seen by a licensed therapist to complete a clinical assessment. The therapist will ask you questions about symptoms and behaviors that you are experiencing as well as previous mental health treatment.

  • The therapist will then develop a treatment plan with you. The therapist will also discuss with you recommended treatment.

  • If follow-up treatment for Outpatient therapy is recommended then the therapist will discuss when they would like to see you back and provide you a calendar with the Therapist of the day on it. If a psychiatric evaluation is needed then our staff will assist with making that appointment for you.
